GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS OF HIGHER EDUCATION MAPPING IN BALI ISLAND USING

1. Latar Belakang 

ARCVIEW Higher education is the level of higher education or further education after secondary school education or equivalent. Based on the observations of researchers on the island of Bali, especially in the city of Denpasar, the growth of higher education institutions is very rapid by providing various kinds of research, so that information about tertiary institutions is not maximally known by the general public and schools men alumni / equivalent especially those who want to continue to higher education levels. To provide more interactive and effective information, a geographic information application was built the distribution system of tertiary institutions on the island of Bali using Arcview GIS as a tool. 

The data needed in this system are spatial data and non-spatial data. Spatial data is a type of vector data that has the characteristics of points, lines and polygons. Points are used to represent cities and colleges, lines are used to represent roads and polygons are used to represent a college district location. Non-spatial data is attribute data that describes higher education. Integrated spatial data and non-spatial data are implemented in ArcView in the form of digital maps. The process carried out in this research is the grouping of universities according to the type of university institutes, secondary schools, polytechnics and academies. Grouping according to the type of tertiary institution in each regency / city on the island of Bali with the aim of making it easier to obtain information on the number of tertiary institutions in each district so that the community can calculate the distance to live from the desired university. The results of this study are the application of university dissemination in each district / city and the application of university deployment on the island of Bali using ArcVie GIS software (Geographic InformationSystem).

2.    Tujuan 

 to build a geographic information system applications spread of this college that can help people or graduate SMA / SMK / equivalent newly completed his studies and wants to continue their education to a higher level again. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) can provide information effectively in determining higher education institutions based on fields of interest to the public. During Currently people had trouble getting information because it is likely there is too much k colleges in Bali in several areas and the possible lack of socialization of each university tin ggi about the programs offered. Therefore, this system can be a decision-making system for the community in general and for SMA / SMK / equivalent graduates in particular, to determine the choice of higher education institutions according to their interests.

4.    Kesimpulan 

Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the number of colleges, institutions, Polytechnics, colleges and academies is the most abundant in the district / city of Denpasar. Denpasar City still  dominates the largest number of types of universities. At the University which has the largest number of faculties is Udayana University with the status of a State. In the Polytechnic type , many of the majors are Bali Polytechnic, for the academy is tourism, the Denpasar Academy and for the institute is ISI Denpasar and for high school is ST Foreign SaraLanguage

IMPLEMENTATION OF POTENTIAL GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) AND REMOTE SENSING (RS) IN RIVER ANALYSIS

1. Latar Belakang

This study describes the potential applications of GIS and Remote Sensing techniques to support river analysis and management. Remote Sensing and GIS are familiar as influential tools to achieve this goal by helping people with experience in management decision systems. The integration of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing has provided tools that can contribute to a clearer understanding of real problems as well as prescriptive planning scenarios for improved quality of river analysis and management. Study of the fluvial morphology of landforms through a combination of remote sensing, GIS analysis and field observations to better understand the morphological characteristics and dynamics of rivers with particular emphasis on bank lines and area changes

2. Tujuan

Objective: to avoid or reduce significant adverse impacts of terrestrial flora and fauna, compilation of river databases with special emphasis on fish diversity and habitat mapping with the help of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) . Using modern techniques of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems together with community participation, conservation programs, the sustainability of these programs can be ensured. Acquire expertise and build infrastructure in the field of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems. Practical application of remote sensing techniques, in mapping the distribution of natural resources, assessment, conservation and management by using visual and digital analysistechniques.

3.   Research methods :

This study will compile descriptions of vegetation assemblages, fauna habitat, to assess the potential impact of the project on rare and endangered species and vegetation communities and to provide recommendations for measures to avoid or reduce significant adverse impacts of terrestrial flora and fauna, compilation of a river database with Geographical and Remote Information System assistance 

4.     Kesimpulan 

Rivers are one of the most valuable natural resources; Due to sluggish population growth and potential demand for urbanization the identification of groundwater zones is also increasing in this country as in the rest of the world. The collective use of remote sensing and GIS-based potential zone analysis has brought a new path in this field. So, a combination of remote sensing and GIS techniques has been used in this study. Table I Different types of data are important for GIS and Remote Sensing Analysis and prove to be a powerful tool for understanding river behavior in any area. The index weighted overlay model is also very useful in rivermapping

Aplikasi sistem informasi eorafis (SIG) untuk Zonasi jalur penankapan ikan diperairan kalimantan barat

1. Latar belakang 

Konflik sering terjadi karena tidak jelasnya wilayah pemanfaatan yaitu dapat melibatkan nelayan dalam satu daerah yang sama ataupun atar daerah yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan pemerintah dalam menghindari terjadinya konflik pemanfaatan  adalah dengan mengendalikan perkembangan kegiatan penankapan ikan melalui penerapan  zonasi jalur penangkapan ikan dilaut 

2. Tujuan 

Untuk mengambarkan peta zona jalur penangkapan ikan diilayah perairan kalimantan barat

3. metode penelitiannya

Kegiatan penangkapan ikan pada periode akhir akhir ini semakin berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi penangkapan

Data dan pendekatan berupa peta rupa bumi indonesiadan peraturan perundang-undangan berupa kepmetan No.392 Tahun 1999

4. Kesimpulannya

Dengan aplikasi SIG maka tergambarkan baha kepment No.392 Tahun 1999 mempunyai beberapa ketimpangan dan juga dihasilkan peta alternatif jalur-jalur penangkapan ikan ilayah perairan kalimantan dengan mempertimbangkan parameter jarak dan kedalaman (iobath) disertai denganbeberapa asumsi dan pembatasan

Pemanfaatan sistem informasi geografis (SIG) untuk prioritas penanganan jalan dikabupaten aceh besar

1. Latar belakang

Laju pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam wilayah kabupaten Aceh Besar masih belum optimal salah satunya disebabkan oleh masih banyknya daerah yang tidak mendapatkan penanganjalan

2. Tujuan

Penentuan urutan prioritas jalan dikabupaten aceh besar 

3. Metode penelitian

Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada 6 ruas jalan kolektor primer (K4) dengan status jala kabupaten dalam ilayahkabupaten Aceh Besar

4. Kesimpulan

Hasil evaluasi pekerjaan untuk semua ruas jalan menunjukkan ada 2 ruas jalan yan layak secara ekonomi untuk dilaksanakan karena NP/km bernilai positif. Serta telah disusun inverntarisasi data jalan kabupaten status jalan kolektor primer berbasis sistem informasi geografis (SIG) dan juga SIG meiliki keunggulan dalam pembaharuan data dengan mudah, sehingga data jaln kabupaten dapat dengan mudah dapat dicetak dalam peta

Sistem informasi geografis berbasis web pemetan lokasi toko oleh-oleh khas samarinda

1. Latar belakang

Kota samarinda memiliki toko-toko cinderamata atau oleh-oleh yang menjadi salah atu upaya untuk memperkenalkan hasil kerajinan yan ada  disamarinda

2. Tujuan 

Menghasilkan sistem sistem informasi geografis dengan visualisasi sistem data spasial yang berisi letak toko oleh-oleh khas samarinda 

3. Metode penelitian

Studi literatur metode kajian studi literatur dengan acuan dari buku

Wawancara satu metode pengumpulan data dengan melakukan tanya jab sepihak data denan melakukan tanya jawab sepihak yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan perlandasan berdasarkan kepada tujuan penelitian

Observasi penulisan melakukan pengamatan langsung di kota samarinda untuk mengambil data yan dibutuhkan 

4. Kesimpulan 

Telah dibangun sebuah web sistem informasi geografis  toko oleh-oleh khas samarinda berbasis eb menggunakan geoggle maps API. Melalui web yan dibangun memeberikan kemudahan kepada pengguna web untuk mengetahui letak posisi toko oleh-oleh khas samarinda dan juga berfungsi sebagai sebuah sistem informasi mengenai toko oleh-oleh khas samarinda dimna didalamnnya terdapat  informasi toko,posisi toko,barang yang dijual dan petunjuk arah menuju toko yang diinginkan
